We are pleased to announce the 65th Annual Meeting of the German Society for Neuropathology and Neuroanatomy - The brain and nerve microenvironment in health and disease -, scheduled on 1st -3rd of September 2021 as a virtual meeting.
The meeting will bring together basic and clinical researchers, physicians as well as early-career researchers and graduate students from multiple disciplines of basic and clinical neuroscience. We will have outstanding talks and discussions from and with some of the most renowned international experts in the field of Neurooncology, Neuroinflammation, Neurodegeneration and Muscle & Nerve Diseases.
As in the past years, the Society presents a Satellite Symposium with a JuNe (Junge Neuropathologen) seminar on the the 2nd of September.
We would like to invite you to share your latest scientific research and/or insights with the neuroscience community. Please submit your abstracts by 31 of May 2021 and indicate the area of research (Neurooncology-Adult, Neurooncology-Pediatric, Neuroinflammation, Neurodegeneration, COVID-19 and Neuropathology, Muscle & Nerve Diseases). Please note that only abstracts in English will be accepted. Short talks will be selected from abstracts by a scientific committee with preference to early career researchers.

We are also happy to announce as a special keynote speaker Prof. Otmar Wiestler, president of the Helmholtz Association who will give a keynote on “The future of university medicine and research in Germany - Neuropathology: Quo Vadis?”.
