It is advised to use a laptop or desktop PC to ensure an optimal presentation. However, the use of a mobile device (mobile phone or tablet) is also supported by our software.

Code of conduct
Only use your real and full name for the congress unless your pseudonym is commonly known.
You can of course set up a profile picture (ideally potrait picture of yourself where your face isn't hidden) so other participants can find and contact you easier.
Recording presentations in any way (video, audio, screenshots) and the distribution of such materials is strictly prohibited.

Personal insults or insulting comments of any sort within the chat are prohibited and will be deleted immediately

The organisers reserve their rights to exclude any participants violating any of the guidelines from the congress.
I won't be able to attend the meeting. Is there another way to view the sessions and materials?
The majority of the materials will be available for you after the meeting in the on demand area.
Are all sessions available online?
We will do our best to make all sessions available to you online. You can also find programme overview and timetables for all sessions on the congress website.

Meeting materials are available for you after the event. You can then view all presentations individually until 1 November 2021. Please remember that it is up to the authors to decide if their presentations can be made available after the meeting. This may lead to gaps within the programme. Please also know that visiting the meeting page for materials after the event is not included in certification processes and will not be acknowledged and certified.
Until when is registration open?
You can register before and directly at the meeting, as always on the meeting website. In your meeting materials you will also find access information to the on-demand content available after the event. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can also register directly for the on demand materials until 1 November 2021.
What is necessary to attend the virtualAnnual Meeting of the German Society for Neuropathology and Neuroanatomy?
To be able to attend the meeting, you should have a proper and stable internet connection, a PC / laptop, tablet or mobile phone, speakers / headphones and a microphone. The use of a webcam is optional. Please always make sure you're have the latest version of your browser installed. Especially with versions of Internet Explorer older than version 11 you may experience increased issues.
You can find further information on technical requirements in the user manual. You also need to be registered to the event which you can do via the meeting website.
Are the sessions interactive? Will there be a Q&A part?
Speakers and meeting chairs will be connected live to all sessions (also when presentations aren't being given live). You can ask questions via the chat during the presentations. At the end of each presentations the chairs will view all questions and read them out loud for the speakers to answer. For further conversations you may use the congress chat room at any time.
Who can I contact if I have technical issues, questions etc. during the meeting?

Will there be an industry session?
The conference will be accompanied by a virtual industry exhibition. The companies will be able to present their products via their detail pages. Similar to the physically attended conferences, you can view the companies' information and marketing materials and have a chat with the staff at the virtual booth. Our sponsors are looking forward to your visit! You should also visit our meet-the-expert/product- or -industry-sessions with our supporters from the industry.
Can I also gain teaching course points from the virtual Annual Meeting of the German Society for Neuropathology and Neuroanatomy?
The certification of the Annual Meeting of the German Society for Neuropathology and Neuroanatomy 2021 will be applied for at the Thuringian State Chamber of Physicians.
Will there be a digital companion, such as a programme leaflet?
The programme overview will be available for download. You can download it at any time as PDF and print out if needed. Besides the programme there will also be an abstract book available to you.
When will the access data for the meeting be sent out?
The access data will be sent to you by email one day before the start of the meeting.
